This was the beginning of our journey from California to Indiana… and our fresh start. What possessed us to leave the land of sun + sushi for the Hoosier state? Basically, family. Its really a long story, but Ki + I decided that “family” topped our values list. So, we decided that we were going to take the big leap of leaving California and my job behind and starting our lives over in Indiana.
So far, the move has resulted in fun times with family, new adventures, job-search stress, and jump-starting our new business, ELEVEN11. All in all, its been full of challenges that have caused us to grow and re-evaluate the way we do life. What we’ve learned is that playing it “safe” doesn’t make for an amazing life. Don’t settle for what you know; there might be something better.
